What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated September 2026.
What we collect
When you register we ask for your name, your email, and optionally your phone number, plus the class option you chose. Card payments are handled by Stripe on their secure pages; we never see or store your card number. e-Transfers arrive through your bank.
Why we use it
To confirm your registration, send you the class location and any changes to the schedule, and answer your questions. That is it, unless you also ask for updates.
Emails and texts
We only send class updates and offers if you ticked the box asking for them. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link that works in one click, and you can reply STOP to any text. Registration and location emails are not marketing and are sent to everyone who signs up.
Who else sees it
Only the services that make the site work: Stripe for card payments, Amazon Web Services where the site and your registration are stored, and our email provider that delivers our messages. We never sell your details and never share them with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Registration records are kept for as long as we need them for bookkeeping. If you unsubscribe from updates, we stop sending them right away and keep only the record that you asked us to stop.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will do so unless a law requires us to keep a record. Email us and we will reply within a few days.
